The Qasr al Hosn Festival 2014 gave its visitors an unforgettable, interactive experience. For the first time, visitors could take guided tours inside the fort, to help them understand the significance of the historic fort and its unique place in Abu Dhabi’s development.

The guided tours also gave visitors a first look behind the scenes at the delicate conservation project being carried out.

Visitors to Qasr al Hosn Festival 2014 entered a lively hub of workshops, cultural demonstrations and interactive learning experiences led by professional curators, artisans and experts. There was also performing arts including music, story-telling and poetry.

A festival highlight was Cavalia at Qasr al Hosn, an equestrian and artistic show created by Cirque du Soleil co-founder Normand Latourelle and adapted specially for Qasr al Hosn Festival.
