The Qasr al Hosn Exhibition featured audio-visuals and interactive displays, photographs, models and timelines that delved into Qasr al Hosn’s remarkable history, from its origins when a watchtower was first built to protect newly discovered water sources, through to its current status as an architectural marvel and centerpiece of Abu Dhabi’s heritage.

This exhibition told the story of Abu Dhabi and its people through its most iconic building: Qasr al Hosn.
Fascinating oral testimonies and rare historical photographs were combined to bring this important monument to life. Contemporary Emirati voices reflected on the history and transformation of Abu Dhabi and the key role of Qasr al Hosn as a vibrant symbol of Emirati heritage, culture and tradition.
